Is there such a thing as 'Spa Etiquette'?
Yes. To ensure that you and those around you reap the full benefits of our Spa, please keep in mind the following etiquette tips:

  • Arrive early. You'll want to get the most out of your Spa experience. Arriving late will cheat you of precious minutes of your treatment. Remember that your treatment will end on time so the next client isn't delayed, regardless of how late you start.
  • Respect other guests. Our Spa environment is one of tranquility and relaxation, so please respect the right to privacy and quiet of other guests. No cell phones please.

How far ahead should I book my treatments?
You should phone or visit the spa to book your treatments and remember the sooner you book them the better chance you have of being accommodated.

What if I am late for my appointment?
Arriving late will shorten the time allowed for your treatment, thus eliminating some of the steps involved, in order that the treatment can end on time ensuring the next guest is not delayed.

What is your cancellation policy?
When you book your services you will be asked to provide a credit card number to hold your appointments. In the event that 24 hours notice is not given, a 100% cancellation fee will be charged.

Is there an age limit to use the spa facilities?
The age limit for our spa facilities is 16 years of age and up.

Are there medical benefits to visiting our spa?
The number one guaranteed benefit of visiting our Spa is your immersion in a relaxing, stress reducing environment. Stress reduction is one of the major contributors to good health. In addition, many of our Spa treatments are geared to easing aches and pains in many varieties.

Should I visit the spa if I'm pregnant?
Yes, by all means. Our therapists are fully trained to provide special treatments and services safely during pregnancy. We advise you on treatments to avoid using deep pressure and involving heat.

How early should I arrive for my Spa treatment?
Arrive a minimum of 20 to 30 minutes prior to your first appointment, to allow yourself ample time to change, put personal effects in a locker, and familiarize yourself with our facility. We recommend you shower and begin to relax by using the hot tub or sauna before your appointment. For subsequent treatments, check in 10 to 15 minutes in advance.

What do I need to bring?
For the fitness facilities, the only essentials are appropriate workout clothes and sneakers. You'll receive a robe and slippers to wear between treatments, and a locker for your personal belongings. Bring a bathing suit if you plan to take a dip in our pool or hot tub, or use the sauna.

Can I wear makeup?
You're welcome to wear makeup, but it will be removed before certain treatments, such as facials. The spa carries a special skin care mineral treatment makeup line.

Can I request a male or female therapist?
Yes. Our therapists are highly trained in draping techniques to ensure your comfort at all times.

Do I have to disrobe entirely for my Spa treatment?
Undergarments are not necessary. However, if you prefer, a bathing suit may be worn. But, keep in mind, therapists are trained to drape towels or sheets discreetly over any areas of your body not involved in the treatment and to protect your privacy at all times.

Should I take my jewelry off?
Please do not bring valuables to the Spa.

Is there someone to help me decide what treatments are best for me?
A Spa receptionist can help you plan a program to suit your needs and interests. Please make appointments well in advance of your visit to ensure availability.

How many kinds of massages are there, and how do I choose the right one for me?
There are at least six popular massage techniques - from classic Swedish to Hot Ocean Stone. A Spa receptionist can help you decide on the right one for you if you explain your goals. Do you want to simply relax, for example, or relieve muscular tension?

Can I ask the therapist to adjust certain things to increase my comfort?
Definitely, It's your time, and you should enjoy the experience. Ask to adjust the room temperature, for example, or the amount of pressure applied during your massage.

Is there a limit to the number of Spa treatments I should plan in one day?
No, however, three hours of treatment is usually recommended in one day. Don't over schedule. Leave quiet time to enjoy other amenities offered around our resort, such as a fitness workout, a dip in the pool, or a relaxing sauna.

Should I alert someone if I have any physical ailments, disabilities or allergies?
Absolutely! In particular, if you have high blood pressure, suffer from allergies, or are pregnant, inform a Spa receptionist when booking your appointments.

The consumption of alcohol before, during or directly after Spa treatments is not recommended.
